Digital products: how refunds work

RunReads only sells ebooks in PDF and EPUB format. There is no physical shipping: as soon as your payment is complete, you get a download link on screen and by email.

Once the download has started

Because the books are delivered instantly, by completing your purchase you agree that the download is made available right away and you acknowledge that once the download has started, the sale is final and you lose any right of withdrawal.

Before you download

If you haven't downloaded the file yet, you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of buying it. Email us at hello@runreads.com with your order number and we'll refund the full amount, using the same payment method, within 14 days of receiving your request.

Faulty or wrong files

If the file won't download, won't open, is damaged, or isn't the book you bought, email us with your order number and a short description of the problem. We'll send you a working file and, if we can't fix it, we'll refund you.

Customers in the EU and the UK

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Under EU and UK consumer law, that right does not apply to digital content supplied without a physical medium once the supply has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you lose the right (in Spain, Article 103(m) of the Consumer Protection Act, TRLGDCU). Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights regarding faulty digital content.
